2021-2022 Re-Entry Plans

At the recommendation of the Madison County Health Department, we moved to a mask requirement for all of our school buildings on Monday, August 9th. This mask mandate was set to expire on Friday, August 20th. However, due to the increase in COVID-19 spread in Madison County, we are extending the mask requirement through the first grading period which ends on Friday, October 1st.

In addition to extending the mask requirement, we will continue with our enhanced cleaning protocols, promote hand-washing and social distancing, as well as perform contact tracing any time we are informed of a student or staff person testing positive for COVID-19.

We are asking for parents and guardians to continue keeping students home if they aren’t feeling well. We also encourage anyone that is eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine that has not done so already to please consider doing so.

We know that our students perform best in a traditional classroom environment. These measures are necessary to ensure we can continue to do so as safely as possible. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.

The Anderson Community School Corporation (ACSC) School Board approved updated COVID-19 procedures at their July 13, 2021 meeting. Key updates for the 2021-2022 school year include:
