Scheduling Meeting For 2019-2020 School Year - Grades 6,7 ONLY

This Thursday, January 10th the Highland counselors will be hosting a meeting for parents and guardians of 6th and 7th graders to discuss schedules for the next school year. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Highland auditorium and should last about an hour. The counselors will go over course requirements for next year and discuss how current test scores such as the ISTEP and NWEA will help determine your child's class placement. They will also briefly discuss high school credit classes offered at Highland as well as the new Early College program offered at the high school.

7th grade students will be given information about scheduling for next year during Social Studies class some time this week. They should be bringing this home to you to discuss, sign, and return to school. 6th grade students will receive this information at the beginning of next month. All 6th and 7th grade parents are encouraged to come out to Thursday night's scheduling meeting at 6:00. Hope to see you there.
