The sixth grade classes are in competition with each other playing "Minute to Win It" during Success period. Each classroom has formed two or three teams. The teams are in competition in the classroom answering math and English questions. (Questions are based on current sixth grade weaknesses which have shown a pattern to be weak on the 7th grade Acuity A test) The team that gets the most correct answers gets to compete in a "Minute to Win It" game that is changed every day and if time permits the losing team members get to compete in the games. At the end of each daily success period the classroom totals the number of students who complete the game accurately in one minute. At the end of 8 days, CLASSROOM scores are compared and an overall CLASSROOM winner is selected for a doughnut party and/or hang outside etc. the last day of school. Good Luck to all Sixth Graders!!!!!
