No School (Full Solar Eclipse)

What
No School (Full Solar Eclipse)
When
4/8/2024

On Monday, April 8, 2024 our area will experience an extremely rare total solar eclipse. Madison County, along with many other counties in Indiana, will be in path of totality, making our area one of the best spots for viewing the eclipse that day. As a result, large numbers of visitors are expected to be in Anderson. Due to the timing (approximately 3:00 pm), and increased traffic on the roads, we will not have school in person on Monday, April 8, 2024.

Should we have our built-in snow day left, it will be a closure that day with no e-Learning. If we have used that day it will be an e-Learning Day. The type of e-Learning Day will depend on whether or not we have one of our two on demand or Asynchronous e-Learning Days remaining. More details will be communicated prior to that day.
